I went down to Richmond, and I was dancin' on a pony keg!

Hello Dears,

Actually while I did go to Richmond yesterday and had the Johnny Cash song "Jackson" stuck in my head for the four hour round trip, there was no pony-keg dancing, only pony plushie delivering!

That's right, my Mare in the Moon, Nightmare Moon plushie made it to her new mama yesterday, who welcomed her with open hooves and a rather awesome hat that made me have a severe case of head-gear jealousy.

Seriously, that Princess Luna hat makes me at least 20% jealous!

I think we accidentally scared away an elderly couple who was sitting at the table next to us, but such is the way of Nightmare Moon: all who do not love her fear her. Speaking of loving cuddly things: I submitted another design to the We Love Fine, My Little Pony t-shirt contest! Have a look at what I've managed to come up with so far:

I love this one in particular, I may have to re work it if it places though
I would wear this everywhere! Does that plushie look familiar?
I have horrid luck when it comes to contests like this, especially when many of the designs are superb. Still, I intend to beset an army on the site as soon as voting starts, Mostly because I AM a cuddly mare--err deer of darkness and I'd be thrilled to have that on a shirt.

I had an idea for a western show girl Pinkie Pie theme but unless you've seen the movie "Blazing Saddles" you wouldn't get it. It would honestly be for my mother who loves Pinkie Pie and the song "I'm tired" from Blazing Saddles.

I did manage to get a little crafting done this weekend too. I started on my Midnight Moon Sewing supply bag and other than being a tad wonky, I like how its coming out :)

Hmm...that fabric looks familiar...
It's going to mostly used as a belt-bag for Renaissance fairs, but, as you can see, it could double as a Nightmare Moon themed bag for a convention outfit I'm putting together. There will eventually be an embroidered moon, a nice clasp, and a belt loop in the back. But I'll have to shop around for that stuff.

In other news, I should have the next "Thread" of my serial novel, "The Red Thread Tapestry" up tomorrow, which should be quite action packed. I need co create a banner for those updates as I don't make any crafted items with my novel's theme...yet!

That's all for now, have a wonderful night, dears!
